SW4E is obviously the better of the two in terms of gameplay. It’s not bad here, it’s just much leaner than its DW predecessor, and that makes little sense to me since DW8E came out before SW4E. I have made a ton of officers to use, and I like all of them to be unique. My only real complaint is how SW4E’s customization isn’t as extensive as DW8E’s. No more recruiting officers I don’t like just to see what they say! I kind of like how each character has their own unique responses in set scenarios in SW4 instead of wholly unique conversations, though. I actually had a list made of all the possible combinations for conversation available in SW2, and I specifically recruited those officers to get the conversations unlocked. In both games, the thing I enjoy most is the character interactions. The main thing I liked about SW2E was how the overworld map music changed depending on the region you were in. ![]() Here you’ve almost conquered the map, but nothing much is happening because the opposition AI is trying to build up its numbers to challenge you, and you don’t want to end it all that quickly for this or that reason or can’t yet. I prefer the latter due to the controls and character variety, but also because in SW2 there comes a point where the action slows down and gets a little boring. I’ve sunk 100+ hours into both SW2E and SW4E, and I found them both incredibly addictive. Though anyways yea people can share views of SW2E, SW3E and SW4E. though I guess the easiest way is to choose and perceive oneself as the ruler, though as a servant of the ruler, well I guess people could imagine that even though they input the ruler's decisions, they could see the ruler making their own decisions and the player's input is simply an assumption or prediction that the ruler would choose to do those things. Though yea not sure what creative loopholes and methods an perspectives of play some SW4E fans used to make the experience more personal instead of micromanaging. meanwhile in games like DW7Empires and DW8Empires, players can dedicate to playing as one character even if they aren't the ruler. SW4E does have some cool things, though it is difficult for roleplayers to solidify their immersion because SW4E design excessively on the player's manual input for the decisions of multiple people in order for the faction to function effeciently. ![]() ![]() so community wise, SW4 Empires was left in the dark sorta. You can share your thoughts here! yea Samurai Warriors 2 Empires is said to be awesome,Īnd Samurai Warriors 4 Empires has its fans but due to the crossgen legal issue that I guess VAs contact prevented SW4E on PS4 from having recordable audio in Share videos (this was fixed in games exclusive to PS4 generation) it kinda made it difficult for PS4 streamers to stream since no audio is embarrassing and youtubes in general couldnt promote the game unless they used another device to record audio.
